The PR company behind the likes of New Balance and Speedo also look after Garmin UK & Ireland, and thanks to our successful event for NB last year they got in touch again this year to ask for our help to find a sponsor and run the bar at the Garmin: Beat Yesterday Live event.

A host of bloggers, journalists and VIPs were invited to the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane to take part in a live fitness class. The session was hosted by musician and TV personality Alesha Dixon and her personal trainer. After an hour of sweating and guests had cleaned themselves up, our team swung into action serving up drinks to the 250 VIP guests at the afterparty.

The party saw a huge range of sports stars and Garmin ambassadors, including Dame Kelly Holmes, take to the stage to discuss the new products before mingling with the crowd. Everyone loved our cocktails using D1 London Spirits and Fentiman's mixers. Music was also provided by the amazing Maya Jama.

The crowd got to join in with some VR sports, play some virtual golf, jump on a stationary bike, watch a full marathon take place on a treadmill and of course, play around with the gadgets while enjoying our cocktails.
