Maxxium UK, distributors of the worlds top whiskies, got in touch with our team with regards to putting on a brand activation to launch the new branding and liquid on trade for the Naked Grouse whisky.

We were tasked with creating an activation which would immerse bartenders in the world of Naked Grouse whisky. We started off by booking a canal boat which would see bartenders sailing up the Regents Canal having a tasting session with the Mixxit team. Our team dressed the canal boat with embroidered blankets, cushions and bunting, custom prints adorned the walls in picture frames, huge magnets down the sides and some A-frames to show guests where to climb aboard.

Once the boat docked guests were guided a few minutes walk to 2Northdown, an iconic comedy club which we had taken over for the week. We created an intimate setting within the venue filled with fully branded walls, branded mobile bars and stunning back bar displays. The walls were covered in huge images of people following the brand tagline of #LiveNaked.

A key element to the activation was the entertainment. We had a DJ playing soulful house music the whole week while Grace Leaney performed live illustration of the brand logo, bottle and drinks. We also handed out specially created scotch eggs, all coated in a Naked Grouse whisky glaze. Guests could select from a classic, black pudding or quorn and beetroot egg.

Other assets our team created for the brand included bespoke furniture, tote bags, t-shirts, VIP gift boxes, miniature bottles, Instaframes and plenty more.
